Here in my country we have a strict ban on beef. As it is currently Illegal in our country is it permissble for us as muslims to offer sacrifice in such a way??

ANSWER: If it’s illegal you must not do this as this will make matters worse for Muslims. Allah has blessed us by giving us alternatives as the Prophet salla allahu aliahi wa sallam slaughtered 2 rams.

I’m not in hajj but I want to sacrifice for Allah, I don’t know what day I should sacrifice, is it on eid after I pray or the ninth please kindly teach me

ANSWER: The sacrifice can’t be made before the eid prayer. The best would be to sacrifice on the day of Eid, however you can also sacrifice on the 11th, 12th and before Maghrib of 13th of Dhul hijjah. https://islamqa.info/en/answers/36432/definition-of-udhiyah-and-ruling-thereon

Which one is more rewarding? Sharing in sacrifice of a cow or sacrificing a goat?

ANSWER: The best sacrifice is a camel, then a cow, if one offers the whole animal, then a sheep, then a goat, then one-seventh of a camel, then one-seventh of a cow.

In the subcontinent there is a habit of bathing the animal applying perfume a day before slaughter then person on who’s behalf the slaughter is done,passes his hand on the animal then slaughter is followed with the recitation of takbira aloud in congregation sometimes the ladies are also present is this allowed

ANSWER: All what you have mentioned is not from the Sunnah at all and hence innovation. No problem if women witness the sacrifice.

1.Can we Sacrifice animals for the dead? 2. I live in Pakistan. Should we fast the day of Arafah according to Saudi Arabia or Pakistan?

ANSWER: 1. This is permissible, however the Sunnah is to include the deceased in your own sacrifice. 2. Your Arafat is on the 9th of thulhijjah according to your islamic authority in your country regardless of when it is in Saudi Arabia.

Is udhiyah valid if someone clips or shaves his pubic or armpit hair or cuts his hair purposely during the 10 days of dhul hijjah, before his sacrifice is done?

ANSWER: The udhiyah is valid but he is sinful for doing this intentionally because refraining from removing hair and nails during this time is obligatory upon the person doing the sacrifice.

For the qurbani for eid al adha, is it permissible to give money for it to be brought abroad and given to someone in need. If one feels he does not need it himself or doesnt have the room to store it.

ANSWER: No problem in slaughtering in another country and to be given to the poor Muslims, however the sunnah is to witness the sacrifice and eat from it.

How many days can you sacrifice the animal for eid al-adha? Is it also allowed to sacrifice it on the 2nd day for example?

ANSWER: It is allowed to sacrifice the animal from 10th of Dhul hijjah till maghrib of 13th of Dhul hijjah.

My query is is 1 hissa in big animal sufficient for one family all members who live together and can I do sacrifice on behave of my deceased grandmother as a sadaqah on her behalf will it benefit her.

ANSWER: Yes, one portion in a big animal (1/7) is sufficient for the entire family living under one roof and you can include your deceased grandmother in this as well.

On sacrificing a goat or prescribed animals on Eid ul Adha, we sacrifice to Allah on behalf of one or many person, my question if one sacrifice is given on behalf of many, does the reward is getting splitted as many? If 50 rewards in total means, 5 person get 10 reward each? Or each person gets the whole 50 reward? Please clarify

ANSWER: The reward is the same for everyone. One sacrifice is for the entire family living under one roof and they can include their deceased parents or grandparents in it as well. You cannot include anyone else.
