QUESTION: Can I do a slaughter (of eid al adha) on the name of the deceased head of family, so that the slaughter will count for the whole family?

ANSWER: This is not from the sunnah. The prophet’s uncle Hamzah and his beloved wife Khadeejah and many others died in his lifetime and he had never slaughtered a sacrifice specially for them. If you want, you can slaughter your own sacrifice and include in it all the deceased you want.

QUESTION: Last year I performed Kurban through an organization. Later I learned that they slaughter each sheep before all the others. Does this mean I can no longer perform Kurban with them?

QUESTION: My son was born last year . We did his aqeeqa we sacrificed one goat last year and want to sacrifice one this year is it valid if we sacrifice goats on different dates with the intention of aqeeqa or we need to sacrifice both goat on the same date.

QUESTION: The Prophet SAWS said in a hadith in Sunan ibn Majah that whoever can afford it but does not offer udhiyah should not come near the place of prayer. if I did not offer sacrifice should i wait for next eid to offer before i can go to the mosque? Also can I offer zakat to make up for it?

QUESTION: In subcontinent there are two things that people say about the sacrificed animal on eid, 1 the animal will carry the person on whose name it is sacrificed on back and leads him to jannah. 2 the sacrificed animal will go to jannah after sacrifice.

QUESTION: I used 2 slaughter goat, only the throat part, in my uncle’s shop. But @ times, wt he does is he takes the goat’s balls and puts it 2 a female goat so tht people wil think it’s male and wil buy it. Or he takes the tail of a goat and attches it 2 a lamb, making it look like a goat so it gets bought. So my QST is am I sinful if I wrk there just 2 cut throat
