Sheikh before reciting the surah fatiha in salah when we recite the opening dua, should we just recite one like subhanlaka humma wabi hamdika… or can we recite more than one if we know it?

In second row, if I see a brother on far right alone in second row because first row is full. Do I stand behind Imam as it is mentioned or do I join the brother in far right ?

Sir if we forget to keep the intention or not sure whether we kept the intention can we leave the prayer and restart again when praying alone?

ANSWER: No. When you make wudu and stand for prayer, that is your intention in itself.

Is it obligatory or recommended to recite surahs in descending order in the consecutive raqahs of namaz?

ANSWER: You can recite any surahs you like. It’s not mandatory to maintain the sequence.

If the forehead or nose of a person is injured then does one have to prostate firmly on the ground if doing so might make the injury worsen?

Is it sunnah to pray 2 rakat whenever entering and leaving your home? and what about forbidden times?

Sheikh, In our college I sometimes do ablution in the washroom, the floor is not clean, I wiped over my shoes in ablution. If the floor is dirty or if there is some dirt on my shoes…, is my ablution valid?

ANSWER: If you had worn your shoes in the state of wudhu and your shoes cover the feet including the ankles, it is permissible to wipe over them.

I go early to jumuah and do ghusl nicely etc and sit close to the imam but 50% of the time as the qutbah starts I need to go to the washroom and therefore I lose the spot near imam can i wait till the qutba is over and go to the washroom because I like to listen to it and i can catch up with the prayer will i be losing the reward in the hadith because of this?

ANSWER: You can go while the khutba is ongoing and come back to your spot as you are entitled for it more than anyone else. If you put your prayer mat or your keychain, no one will sit as they know you will be coming back.

Im aware that if I go to the mosque and sit down without praying tahiyatul masjid Im sinful. However, sometimes I reach the mosque and there is only 20 seconds to a minute left in the iqamah. What should I do in such a scenario??

ANSWER: If the time is so less, stay standing until the congregation starts.

One scholar of my country said that, “The sin of leaving one fard prayer intentionally is equivalent of eating 1000 ounces pork meat. ” Does he have any right to say such things, is it authentic? Will i be sinful if i quote his words to others?
