QUESTION: My college school always plans vacational trips on Fridays and it’s just something planned for fun. As a Muslim am I sinful for missing Khutbah to go to this trips.

QUESTION: I am student. As a student i always need to study till late night so that i can complete my syllabus. As a result i cannot pray my fazr prayer in time. I pray the fazr prayer after juhur / Asor. Am i sinful? If i am then will Allah forgive me??

ANSWER: Of course you are sinful and committing a major sin. This is a sign of hypocrisy when you skip fajr like this for worldly matters as you are preferring your studies over paradise and over obeying Allah.

QUESTION: When I have fever ,I missed Fajr and offer prayer afer sunrise. Am I sinful?

ANSWER: If you do this deliberately then you’re sinful and it’s a major sin. But if you were asleep and could not wake up, there is no sin on you.

QUESTION: If the imam in the masjid says the starting takbir of the prayer and I’m praying the sunnah prayer but I’m in home and also I didn’t hear the imam, would that sunnah prayer be valid (for example in case of Fajr where you pray sunnah and go and see one rakah has gone) because after the takbir no other prayer is valid.

ANSWER: If you heard the iqamah, you should have rushed to join the congregation. But if you did not hear it and was not aware of it, your voluntary prayer is valid.

QUESTION: Is it true that the Fuqaha recommend skipping Doha prayer occasionally instead of praying it every single day?

QUESTION: Sheikh, sometimes the masjid would combine prayers due to rain, but sometimes the rain wouldn’t be that heavy, in this case do I pray again when the time of the next prayer starts?

QUESTION: One day while praying ‘Asr in the mosque, the Imam mistakenly sat in the 3rd rakah and recited Tashahhud. I initially got up and stood but later sat down again when I saw that the Imam did not rise up for the “4th rakah” but I did not recite the tashahhud in the 3rd rakah like the Imam. The Imam along with everyone of us offered sujood-as-sahw before concluding the prayer. Did I do anything wrong?

QUESTION: Sheikh I I am hanafi in majhab.What is the rulling on saying prayer without covering the feet of a muslim women according to hanafi majhab? I can try to cover my feet but I can’t always do it.sometimes I start my prayer covering my feet but in the prayer they become uncovered. so it is necessary to me to repeat the prayer? Can I say prayer in this way when there is no non-mahram?

ANSWER: I don’t follow hanafi madhab. The most authentic opinion is that you must cover your feet while praying and wearing socks would be the best option, even if your abaya moves a bit while praying the socks are there that covers your feet.

QUESTION: Sheikh. My family members before praying recite “I have turned my face in complete devotion to the One Who created the heavens and the earth, and I am not one of the polytheists” and they do this before the starting of first salah they are offering at a particular time. Eg:- Before 2 rakahs of fajr sunnah, before 2 rakahs of zuhr sunnah
