QUESTION: Next year In’sha’Allah I will visit my hometown so what is the ruling on combining prayers or not going to the masjid to pray which is near my house there? I’ve heard that a person can combine prayers until the person is settled. Is this true? How do I know if I still feel unsettled or if the shaytan is trying to play me to still combine?

ANSWER: If its your hometown where you would eventually come back to, you must pray normally, like a resident as soon as you land in your city as you are not considered a traveller anymore.

QUESTION: If we combine two surahs in one rakah we separate them using Bismillah…. If we’re in the loud raka should we recite it loudly?

ANSWER: This is not a Hadith. No problem in sleeping after Asr if you wake up in time for magrib.

QUESTION: Shiekh after jumah prayer here imam do dua so all the people raise hands and say ameen they leave when this dua is over I know it’s a bidah shiekh . I don’t raise my hands and say ameen to dua which imam makes but shiekh can I just sit there and when everyone is leaving the mosque after dua I also leave. Or should I leave when imam starts making dua.not leaving because of people make me hypocrite?

QUESTION: I pray fajr at home and quickly because if i wash my face and go to masjid then i cant sleep after that. If i dont sleep i cant concentrate at the other prayers and i feel miserable and cant do other daily activities. ANSWER: If the masjid is within your vicinity, it is not permissible to pray home like women and children and ill people.

QUESTION: The spot of praying should be pure is a condition for the validity of prayer. My question is what is the extent that we should keep pure when we pray?From Our feet to the prostration spot or something else?

ANSWER: From the feet to the prostration spot. The prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam said that the earth was made for him a place of purity and prayer. Therefore, the default is that all grounds are pure until proven otherwise.
