QUESTION: Sheikh I use a pocket mat to pray in masjids because many times it has been happened with me when I prostate I smell very bad odour from that masjid mats of feet smell or socks or something. Also if I pray in second row people’s wet feet leave stamps on the mat. Is it permissible?

ANSWER: The followers must start raising up when the imam has stood up or finished saying sami Allah huliman hamidah.

QUESTION: Can i pray full prayer while travelling without shortening it because some scholar say that it is mandatory to shorten prayer while travellng.

ANSWER: You should shorten the prayers while traveling, you must not pray in full unless if you’re praying behind the local imam. If you pray it full, the prayer is valid. It is best not to combine though it is permissible.

QUESTION: I used to go in ruku without finishing surah Al-Faatihah in the silent salah but know I know so do I have to make up the prayers.

QUESTION: Here in my native place, kerala, while praying janazah , here they end tasleem to both sides. Should i stop after 1st tasleem with imam or should i do as what imam does?

ANSWER: The sunnah is to offer only one tasleem to the right. However, if you followed the imam and gave two, this is permissible and if you only offered one, this is also permissible.
