ANSWER: Everytime you enter the masjid, you must pray before sitting down, it can be any prayer, whether 2 specific rakahs of tahiyatul masjid, sunnah before the obligatory prayer or fard prayer itself. If you don’t sit down and immediately join the congregation, you don’t need to offer it.
