QUESTION: My mom was angry that I kept wearing her hijab instead of mine to perform prayer so she took my hijab off mid prayer. Is my prayer valid or what should I do in this situation.

ANSWER: You must repeat the prayer as your awrah became exposed! Stop acting stupid or innocent and fear Allah. You must not annoy your mother like this.

ANSWER: Yes, but if he specifically asks you not to wake him up, he’s sinful & you’re not accountable for it.

QUESTION: Sometimes I pray because i just have to ,I do not want to miss Namaz and do not have to perform Qadha, sometimes I pray a little fast. My mother says if you donot pray properly namaz will be thrown in your face on the day of judgement. Is this true?

ANSWER: If such fear is genuine, the prayer is valid. But if such a fear is the result of your own imagination, you must stop such nonsense and be proud of your faith.

QUESTION: If someone wants to pray alone in a kafir country in a place where he cannot hear adhan and iqamah, is both of them mandatory?

ANSWER: If adhan has already been given in any masjid in the city, regardless whether you heard it or not, you can pray without giving the adhan. Giving iqamah is a highly recommended sunnah but its not mandatory.

QUESTION: I have a 4 month old baby. He wakes up every 2-2.5 hours at night to eat. So,sometimes it happens that I have only 10 to 15 minutes left for Fajr prayers.At that time, my child wants to eat too or he needs me to comfort him for getting back to sleep after morning feeding.What should I do in that case?Should I finish my prayer and let him cry or should I leave my prayer and attend my baby?

ANSWER: You should pray first. Nothing will happen if the baby cries for sometime, in fact it’s good for his lungs.

QUESTION: In congregational prayers the imam of our masjid prays so fast that we cannot bow (Ruku) and prostrate(Shijda) properly. Furthermore we have to finish our Salah till Taslim and sometimes till Tashahud. Is our prayer valid?

QUESTION: Here in my neighbourhood many mosques most of the time before adhan and sometimes iqamah add the words “Allahumma salli ‘alaa sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘alaa aali sayyidina Muhammad” so is the adhan valid? How to pray jumu’ah in such situation.
