QUESTION: Recently a brother skips fajr at mosque out of laziness (he sleeps early). Sheikh how would you advise him to go the MOSQUE?

ANSWER: Remind him that the hardest prayers for hypocrites as the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had told us is Fajr and Isha prayer! If he is fine in being a hypocrite, there is no problem in that!

QUESTION: A muslim is travelling by train and has to pray in the train. He has two choices: pray standing but not facing qibla or pray sitting down and facing the qibla. Which one should he choose?

ANSWER: He must face the qibla in fard prayers and he must pray standing up as this is a pillar. However, if he is unable to do both and has to choose one, I would select facing the qibla and Allah knows best.

QUESTION: If there is a lot of lightning strike outside, what is the ruling on going to the mosque? Recently, there has been intense thunder around Fajr time frequently. Should I go to the mosque or pray at home?

QUESTION: Is it mandatory to say takbir Allah hu Akbar in ruku sujood getting back from sujood after imam in congregation. If we forget to say it does it invalidate our salah?

ANSWER: Yes, this is mandatory. If you forgot it, this is forgiven but if you leave it intentionally, your prayer is invalid.

QUESTION: If i was praying whit the imam from the beginning for asr salah and in the 4 rakah i didnt manage to recite surah al fatiha to the end because i made a mistake in surah fatiha so i went back and corrected the ayah where i made mistake then i continued my recitation but then imam went to do rukuh and i knew even if i recited fast i wouldnt catch up because imam will raise his head. is rakah valid?

ANSWER: No, it is not valid if you did not complete the fatiha or you were not in ruku with him at the same time.

QUESTION: During the three-rak’ah Witr prayer, after praying two rak’ahs, can one change places and pray the remaining one rak’ah?

QUESTION: Is this permission to use notes during Salah to facilitate my learning,allowing me to glance at them occasionally while maintaining the proper position and focus on my prayer, such as keeping my eyes on the notes or changing the page of it n simultaneously being mindful of the prostration spot while in Ruku, n similarly during other pillars, obligatory, and recommended acts of Salah?

QUESTION: For qada prayers tell me how should i do regarding tartib (1 or 2) 1.dhor time: i pray some qada then dhor then at asr time: some qada then asr 2. all qada before dhor and at asr time: only asr (i ask bcz between dhor and asr is time where we can group both of those prayers) i wonder in case 1 if tartib is still respected as i prayed qadas after dhor.
