ANSWER: You don’t say the salutation during the athan but once it is over, you offer it and say the prescribed Duaa. Neither the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam nor his companions used to offer salutation while hearing the name of the prophet in the athan.

ANSWER: Fateha is obligatory and the other surah is sunnah in both fard and voluntary prayers. However reciting the other surah will grant you more reward but even if you didn’t recite it, your salah would still be valid.

Can we recite the Fatiha in loud prayers before the imam finishes the Fatiha? (For example if we won’t have time to recite it afterwards because the imam recites only a short surah very quickly)

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible. When the imam is reciting the fateha, you must listen only and if you get a chance then you can recite it after he finishes but even if you don’t recite fateha behind the imam in loud rakah then also your prayer is valid.

If I see two people praying and i want to join the prayer. Should I pull the person next to the imam backwards or should I push the imam foward so that me and the person will be on the same place?

I am confused about how to go about my Jummah prayer. The only mosque near me one of the imams as thede are 2 is an extreme Ashari and sufi. He has said it is permissible to ask for things through Muhammad, Ali, etc. Anyone who was righteous. The other imam who leads jummah sometimes there is fine. But if i see him leading should i just pray dhuhr?

When I pray Witr ( after praying Isha) Do I have to pray one or three rakats?If three Rakats , I need to start stating my intention for two times? First two rakats and then one rakat.

ANSWER: The salah is valid but it’s not appropriate to pray there. At least he must cover those dolls with something while praying.

My granma is 80+ or close to 90. for last couple of week she is sick missed prayer. she is on bed can’t move. her behaviour became a bit abnormal. she normally used to pray 5 times a day. my uncle said to her u dnt hv 2 do d wudu or sit to pray(as u r unable)& u r like a baby. is it correct that whn people reach really old age they r being treated lyk baby?
