Please explain the significance of dua saying “hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan fee”.. What’s the reward of saying this dua during prayer..

If a person forgets to bow in the fourth rakah of obligatory prayer & remembers it in the tashadud, then should he stand again & Complete the rakah, considering it as fourth or should he finish of his prayer & again pray the whole Salah? As bowing is one of the Arkan of the salah.

ANSWER: He must stand up immediately, perform ruku, stand up for ruku, go to offer his two prostrations and then offer the tashahud to conclude his prayer, offer Salam then offer 2 prostrations of forgetfulness and then offer another salam.

After praying my sunnah prayer after Maghreb I noticed that part of my hijab moved and my hijab became see through. I’m not sure if this happened during maghrib salah. Should I assume it did and re-pray Maghreb?

ANSWER: You must immediately straighthen the hijab and no need to pray it again. However from now on you must wear a very loose and thick outer garment that covers the entire body and that which does not expose the awrah while bowing or prostration.

How to we keep the intention for salah ? By thinking ‘ I’m praying ———— salah for the sake of allah when we are saying Allahu akbar ? ( between a and r ) and for wudhu we should think I’m doing the fardhs of while starting to wash our faces ? Which is the correct way ? (With evidence pls )

ANSWER: This is an innovation. The intention for the salah lies in the heart, it is not to be said verbally.

This is in regards to salah being acceptable when prayed after eating onion n garlic? I have heard a hadith (interpretation of d meaning):Muhammad pbuh said whoever eats onion and garlic,should not even pass by our masjids. Is this hadith referring to ea raw onions and garlic ? Normally , onions and garlic is garnished in all the kinds of meals prepared for example in lentil soup, Meat curry etc.

ANSWER: The prohibition is in eating raw onions and garlic and going to the Masjid. It has no impact on the prayer of an individual.

Sheikh, is it necessary for women to make ‘saff’ while praying in masjid ? As in if women offer taraweeh like in Ramadan.

ANSWER: Yes, they must form proper saff.

Moving the tongue is a requirement for doing dhikr. But what about personal dua/supplication? When we make dua for ourselves in our oun language in Salah (i.e., in sujood, before salaam ) is it necessary to move our lips?

ANSWER: Yes, this is necessary. It is mandatory to say everything in salah by at least moving the lips.

If I yawn or burp or even sneeze (uncontrollable for me sometimes) during salah where I’m in midst of a surah should I stop my surah and say Astagfirullah or Alhamdulillah respective then start the surah by saying Bismillah irrahman irrahim or what should I do?

ANSWER: When you sneeze in salah, you should say Alhamdulillah and continue your salah from there without saying bismillah. You don’t say anything for burping or yawning whether in prayer or outside of prayer.

Is it permissible to make dua in both obligatory and optional prayers in sujood and before the final tashahhud ( the salam )?
