QUESTION: My friend told that both raising the hands during prayer (Raf‘ul-Yadayn) and not raising them are from the Sunnah, and that a person will be rewarded for doing either. Is this true according to Sunnah?

QUESTION: We all know in congregation first row is the best. And then you said exactly behind imam most reward, then rigtht and left. But somtimes some people try to move you and say behind imam only hafiz or sombody that can take over imam ? What should o do ? Stand my grund or move a bit to left or right.

QUESTION: Sheikh, my question is that during Jummuah the masjid gets full but there is a big garden beside the masjid and many people pray jummuah there. So if we listen the khutbah there and pray , will our names still be recorded for attending jummuah by the angels?

ANSWER: If you enter the masjid or sit in the garden before the Imam enters the masjid, you will get the reward.

QUESTION: If i choose to pray salah according to the hanafi mathhab doing sujood as sahw as they do would my prayers be valid is the differnce of mathhabs in regard to salah valid iktilaf

ANSWER: If you are an ignorant layman who knows nothing else, your prayer is valid. But if you know the right way and the way of the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and still decide to go against it, this usually can only happen to full fledged hypocrites!!

QUESTION: I was replacing my missed fast and same day i didn’t pray isha due to laziness. Should i replace that fast again?

ANSWER: No need. The fast is valid however, you have committed a major sin by abandoning prayer and are in great danger of being a hypocrite.

QUESTION: I joined a new company and asked whether I can to masjid for prayer and if not possible then arrange a room for me to pray. They said that they will arrange a room for me. Masjid is 9mins walk(time in Google maps). Is it wajib for me to go to masjid? I can go to masjid without them knowing.

ANSWER: If you can go then it’s best but if they don’t allow then it’s permissible to pray in your office especially if you are in a kafir country

QUESTION: Sheikh there were a few instances when I did regular ghusl without being in state of major impurity and prayed my fard salahs. I did not know that doing such regular ghusl does not substitute for wudu. I don’t even remember which prayers these were as it was years ago, how can I rectify ?
