Can we apply alcohol based perfume that has high percentage of alcohol and pray with it? Does it invalidate the wudu or prayer?

ANSWER: No problem as alcohol based perfumes are permissible to wear regardless of the percentage of alcohol. This does not invalidate the wudu nor has any impact on your prayer, no problem in using it externally. Alcohol is not impure physically.

I keep skipping salah do u know any recitation or wazifa which I keep saying and than never miss my salah?

ANSWER: There is no specific dua for this. Just think about the punishment that would await you after you die for committing this major sin, this would motivate you to never miss a single prayer again!

There is a hadith which mentions saying Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, & Allahu Akbar 10 times after every salah but there is also a hadith which mentions saying these same azkar 33 times each, after fardh prayer. Which of these two ahadith to follow? Should we say these 10 times or 33 times? Or can we alternate?

ANSWER: You can alternate. Both are from the sunnah but surely 33 is more rewarding.

Can i perform some salah in house with my father who has arthritis,sothat we both can get sowab of jamah and can i perform some prayers in the mosques? Or I have to pray all salah in mosques shaikh?

ANSWER: No. You must pray all the prayers in the masjid and can come back and pray your sunnah with him while his intention is for fard and your’s for sunnah.

There’s a hadith of At-Tirmidhi which says the acceptance of dua is after “conclusion of obligatory salah”. Is it true? (Riyad As-Salihin 1500, Book 16. Hadith 36)

ANSWER: No need to pray them separately. You can combine both and recite only once.

I tend to take too much time to perform my salah (10-15minutes for 2rakat prayer and 15-30 minutes for 4 rakat). I tend to slow my recitation in salah so that I feel focused and also I have less ability to be attentive generally(I’m a non arab). I’m I doing anything wrong by extending my prayer time whereas usually people finish their salah within 5-10 minutes?

ANSWER: This is your time with Allah. If this won’t lead you to OCD and making you exaggerate things out of its proportion, then this is fine.

In India some people they do not stand during nawafil prayer they say we pray nawafil salah sitting is this correct? What about fard prayers?

ANSWER: No problem in praying voluntary prayers sitting. This is permissible, though this would be half in reward of the person standing up if done without a valid reason. Standing up is a pillar in a fard prayer. Praying obligatory prayer while sitting with no legitimate reason is not permissible and the prayer is void.

If the time of congregation has passed can i pray salah at home? And if i have somewhere to go or i am busy knowing that i won’t be able to pray at the time of salah so can i pray before the time? At home?

ANSWER: 1. You should go to the masjid and pray there in second congregation or if there is no congregation going on, you should start praying and some other late comers would join you to make Jamah. 2. It is absolutely prohibited to pray even a second before the time for salah enters.

It is prohibited to spit towards the direction of qibla and right side. Is the right side option applicable for every other direction also? There are many houses/offices that have their basins in bathrooms faced towards the direction of qibla. What to do in such cases?Cause people use such basins for ablution, brushing teeth, spitting etc.
