Pls is it permissible that I add a certain amount of money as a 3rd party in a business transaction. I don’t sell the product but my friend asked me to find out the price, which costs 10,000. I told him it costs 12,000. Is what 2,000 Halal to me?

ANSWER: This is cheating and it is prohibited.

I have realised that industry is not genuine,there are ethical issues from top to bottom,small example: lying to customers that meat is fresh from today etc. Respected Sheikh My question is that during your life in Islamic Daawah have you ever came accross any business which made you go Wow, what a great way to earn a halal living. Has any business ever impressed you. I am 31yr single male.

ANSWER: I am afraid I don’t look at others and contemplate on their income and provisions, as it is of no interest to me. However, there are thousands of different ways one can make business if he is energetic and having full tawakkul in Allah.

Does Islam permit us to make movies, films or drama ? base on human charateristic, like envy, truth, falsehood , jeolousy, emotion, sacrifice, goodness etc. And taking acting as a job as per Islamic rules?

I am a chartered accountant. I work in a Singaporean company ….. Which is a computer manufacturing company. Iam the financial manager of that company. The main business of that company is not related to interest but as far as iam considered I deal with the accounting of Interest because it is beyond my control to avoid interest related transactions. Is my job is haram or halal ?

ANSWER: If you directly write and document interests, your job is prohibited.

Working in a vaporizer inhalation device warehouse is halal or haram, the job has two positions – picking the stock and give it to the packers or to sit on the computer and manage the stock. He gives time to pray.

ANSWER: This is not haram providing you don’t take pictures of women, I don’t recommend you to work such a job.

I want to sell dresses through a few women-only Facebook groups. These dresses are tight and exposing. I don’t know if the purchaser will wear it in mixed occassions or women-only occasions. It’s hardly ever possible to guess from looking at their profiles. So is this permissible?

There is a mobile banking company in Bangladesh namely ….. The main service of it is transferring money and charging commission for that. The company belongs to a riba based commercial banks though separate from the banks. It also earns interest from its deposits kept with other banks though this amount is very small portion in total income. Is it halal to do job in this company?

Is it permissible for a female to upload her photo on sites such as LinkedIn if she has her hijab on in the photo? LinkedIn is a professional platform used for job search and employers to see who you are before an interview.
