I work as a truck driver in the west. My question is simple , the company I work for primarily make sandwiches and these sandwiches as you know include things that are haraam like bacon sandwich. Now my role is the transport of these ready made sandwiches. Now I have little to no contact with with these sandwiches so sheikh give me naseeha if this line of work is halal or not

ANSWER: This is not permissible and the income is haram because its collaborating and assisting in evil and haram food.

Sheikh, my parents have chosen for me a life partner who works in a bank which is against Islamic Sharia and haraam earnings.I don’t want to get married whose earnings are not halal but my mother doesn’t want to accept it & constantly ordering me to agree, even she is getting angry with me & stop talking to me. because I don’t except it, what should I do in this situation? bcz i m disobeying her

ANSWER: You must not accept this proposal at all. However, you must be diplomatic, respectful and humble with your parents in all situations while not compromising on the rulings of Islam.

I’m unemployed now but I’ve an opportunity to get a job. As I’m free now I’ve time for salah and doing other good deeds but i think that when I’ll be employed, i won’t get time to do relegious activities and I’m also in need of job. So please guide me, should i do work, or work for the akhirah?

An individual offers his services to a conventional bank, such as fixing their cameras and equipments they work with or those that improve the confort of their customers. Or any service that benefits the bank. Is that halal or haram?

ANSWER: This is absolutely prohibited & one of the major sins in Islam and the income is haram as this is collaborating and assisting in evil and haram.

I’m a UK university student and as you may be aware university in the Uk is very expensive. The Country helps you by providing student finance which unfortunately contains riba. My plan was to find a part time job and try my hardest to pay my fee without getting the loan. However, I can’t find a Halal job I have to work in a supermarket with alcohol. My pay is not good for paying.

ANSWER: Getting a degree is not a prerequisite for entering paradise! Avoiding haram is.

I am teaching a girl as a home tutor who is approximately 13-15 years old and she is a non-mahram to me. Her parents requested me not to stop teaching her because her exam is going to start in a month from now and they facing trouble to find another tutor due to coronavirus pandemic. Is it permissible to teach or should I left the tution?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. He must only take male students. 11 years is quite mature and many girls reach puberty at this age.

Is it permissible to work in a supermarket, stocking products and scanning products. These products are a mix of halal and haram. It may be that the haram products have haram ingredients (alcohol), or the product is pork or wine bottles, etc.

I am from India. I was trying to take a job in “Apollo Pharmacy” which is a prominent Pharmacy company in india. Then I realize Apollo is the idol of healing in Greek. Should I take job in this company as its name contain shirk?

ANSWER: No problem in this if your job description is halal because the name of the company does not make a job halal or haram.

I intend to start a Food Catering Business. I may receive orders from Muslim or Non-Muslim customers to deliver food for BIRTHDAY / ANNIVERSARY or similar programs. I know these programs are not permissible and I will try my level best to avoid. If I deliver food only for the main course for these programs, not the cake & other haram items, will it still be HALAL for me?

ANSWER: If they don’t tell you what it is for, you can prepare such foods for them. It’s not permissible to take orders of Haram events if you already know about them.
