I work 7.4 hours a day in a factory. I regularly drive myself crazy in my head as to whether I am working every minute. often this is not the case and then I count the minutes that I have not worked throughout the day (mostly the amount of minutes lost because of too long break, like 1-2minutes per break) Sometimes I work these minutes at the end of the day, is this necessary? or

ANSWER: What you are doing is extreme and would turn you into an ocd patient! Nobody works 100% of the time on duty! As long as you are fulfilling your tasks as per the job requirement and your supervisor is happy with your performance, you are fine.

I would like to know the Islamic way of giving salary to a worker in restaurant. I mean if i suffer a loss and unable to pay, then whats the ruling?when would it be riba?

ANSWER: He is an employee and he has done his job which he deserves his salary for. It is not his business whether you are losing or profiting.

Is it permissible for Muslim women to do online business without showing their face or hand online and teaching other women online with just audio?

ANSWER: No problem as long as what you’re teaching is halal.

I had $2000 in my account. I gave some in charity and gave some in gifts. I invested remaining $800 in buissness. I later found out that out of $2000 the $1000 that I earned was haram. So what should I do about my buissness now? Because it had grown and made a profit.

ANSWER: If when earning the money you didn’t know it was haram, you can use it and benefit from it and it is halal for you in Sha Allah unless it was stolen.

I am an accountant. I quit my job because it involved recording riba at times. And job hunting. Almost all jobs an accountant can get would involve recording riba. Now I got a job offer in a bank. And this job won’t involve recording riba, but filing reports to authorities. Is it acceptable? Or at least more acceptable to work in a Bank w/o recording riba, than work in non-Bank and record riba?

ANSWER: It’s totally prohibited to work in any department of a riba based bank, even if you work as a janitor, its prohibited and the income is haram and its one of the major sins in Islam!

ANSWER: No problem in working in a halal department there as this is not fortune telling.

There is an app which pays me to complete tasks. The tasks give views to videos such as on youtube. But it doesn’t take me to youtube.I don’t have to watch the videos.I just click a button on the app and the task gets completed without doing anything more. Will it be permissable?
