If I drew a head of my favorite person as a class project, can I keep it in my drawing book. Please tell me the limitations on drawing living beings for my precautions of my future projects. Is it allowed to draw body parts only etc. Etc.

It is forbidden to draw faces of the living things as long as they contrain the features of the face such as eyes, nose, mouth etc. this is imitating the creation of Allah and it is a major sin.

I lost my husband 10 months ago.I have a daughter who is eleven months now.my QN is I have a foto of my husband in my fone and two printed fotos of him with me .I have kept it hidden n never used to look at it fearing of shirk.I dint destroy bcoz i wanna show to her how her Father lukd like when she growup inshahAllah.is it OK?

This is not permissible, you have to destroy these pictures.

Are statues allowed in Islam? I asked my local Imam from my Mosque nearby my house here in Holland, and he told me that statues and images are allowed as long as you don’t worship it. And Umar RA was ruling over Egypt and he did not order to destroy the statues for over 1400 years long. My Imam told me Quran 34:13 as evidence that statues (not for worship) are allowed. Is this true ?

There is a person who answers Islamic questions. He says that every part of a living creature is forbidden as an image. For example even if it’s just a hand. as I know we can remove a head and leave the rest. But according to him even without a head it’s forbidden. I wonder is there any scholar who says that even without a head an image is forbidden?

I came across the hadith that Prophet (saw) said that angels do not enter a house that has either a dog or a picture in it. My question to u is I have a small baby n their toys include teddy bears n other stuff animals n dolls n toys… Wats the ruling abt them? Are they allowed or not???

Toys are permissible for children and it is exempted from preventing the Angels from entering the home! However, it is best to cover it before praying in the room.

i hear drawing is haram but what kinds of drawing? can I draw half a face, like the top part only? also my parents r forcing me to go to a mixed school which is haram, if I go then does Allah hold me accountable for disobeying Him?

In my anatomy class, we sometimes have had to use pictures and illustrations of human beings (with facial features) for labeling and studying. I did not draw any such pictures myself, but only used the ones already drawn. Is this permissible?

Yes, in sha Allah, this is permissible.

My aunt wanted me to put a photo on her facebook of a good quiz score that I had gotten so that she could show her friends, but some of her friends are non-mahrams and so I thought about putting the photo on her page, but making it private so that only my friends would see it (who are only mahrams and females). Is this permissible?

If it is a personal photo of you, this is not permissible even for Mahrams. Bit if it is a photo of the score you got, this is permissible.
