In India/Pak b4 wedding, functions like Haldi (put turmeric to bride, every1 wears yellow dress, bride does not change yellow dress 3+ days, stage is set for bride, etc) & Henna where everyone wears green clothes. Hindus also do these. Rituals slightly differ from place 2 place. Wat is the ruling on this functions? How to do in halal way if allowed to do?

My husband and I are practicing Muslims as we should be. Alhamdulillah. My husband grows beard long. But when his acquaintances call him “Mutawwa” seeing his looks, he feels he isn’t of that high level practicing Muslim and so as not be (Riya) showing off Muslim, He trims off his beard making it very short. I hate it,we argue over this matter. Pls advice him Shaykh.

I live in Sydney Australia. I am using Bank account here. When we save money into the account, they pay some percentage of interest fee to me. I have asked them not to pay me that amount, but they say they can not change it. Here, every Bank has the same policy and its the necessity here to use the bank account. ANSWER: This is an issue of dispute as per the hadeeth of abu Huraira May Allah be pleased with him. The most authentic opinion is that this is not mandatory but rather recommended as a punishment to prevent women from wearing perfume when they go out.

I have a T-shirt which says “الله اكبر” which I just bought but now I wonder if it would be permissible to enter the washroom whilst wearing it? Must I at least cover by zipping up my jacket or must I take it off entirely. Or can one even have such T-shirts?

Sorry if i misunderstood this.if there is alcohol in food which Doesn’t intoxicate it is halal.but isnt there is a hadith that whatver intoxicate in large amount is also haram in small quantity i mean we use this hadith in nutmeg use & we say nutmeg haram even if use it in veryy small amount in food so why then small alcohol in food halal?
