Pls ber wd me if im always inquiring bc aftr ramadhn i can’t ask u anymor due to time gap i sleep erly. my q is we dont have garbage collector so we burn the garbages b4 bad smell pile up inside but sometimes ders a colony of ants shud I contnue burn it anyway? cant ignore if pur outside bc of dogs scattering it on roadway. cant put it either inside it smell.

ANSWER: Burning living creatures is sinful as this is only for Allah to do! You must repent to Allah, ask Him for forgiveness and show deep remorse.

My husband took a loan 5 years back and he is still trying to pay it. the interest rate in his monthly installments is 70% e.g he pays $2000 monthly out of which $1500 is interest. My question is can i take a loan with 20% interest rate to pay my husband’s loan which has a 70% interest rate? This way his interest would be lower and repayments would be quicker.

I wanted to know the permissibility to carry out an iftaar event of the community for the sake of Allah where there is one big hall. The men are on one side and the women are on the other. There is no barrier in between and there is one entrance. Is this permissible? We will be rewarded even if there is no proper segregation.2 separate room are not available due to lack of funding

Sheikh, I work in a restaurant bar where alcohol is served and I’m the dish washer, what I wanted to ask is: is it halal income or not. I don’t serve the drinks, all I do is wash them.I hope I can get quick reply since I haven’t started working yet but planning.

ANSWER: This is not permissible at all.

If I start a business with a partner with equal investments in the businessand agree to share profit in a 50:50 ratio, would it be permissible for me to give him a sum of money later on (which will be used for my partner’s personal use) and increase my percentage share of profit in return? Or would this be riba?
