QUESTION: In western countries they have declared rainbow as symbol for the so called L*BTQ. So many Muslim countries are banning rainbow coloured toys and things. But isn’t that a creation of Allah? Some kids really love the rainbow colours but they are not allowed use anything rainbow because of this nonsense. Just because they declared a natural phenomenon as their symbol why should we not use it?

ANSWER: No problem in using such colors. Buying flags or toys that promote this symbol today at this time and age when we know what it is used for is not permissible They can mix the colors and play as much as they like

QUESTION: Is it permissible to run a recruitment agency? Can we contact people working in companies and offer them vacancies? I heard from someone that if the employees are currently working we can’t offer them another job, it takes the ruling of selling an item at a lower price after someone else has made an agreement already. Is this true.

ANSWER: It is not permissible to go to an employee and offer him a job while he is still working for his company as this is like selling over your brother’s transaction which the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa salla had prohibited.

ANSWER: The majority say that this is not permissible or at least it is makrooh and so do doctors. However, I don’t believe that it is prohibited and Allah knows best.

QUESTION: My dad is in high position, in medical, my mom needed to take sugar test quickly as her fasting time was complete, so I used my father’s higher position to go before serial, was it halal?

ANSWER: I would say that this is prohibited if there was no legitimate reason for that.

QUESTION: Is a female allowed to take a driving test in order to get a driving license? She is required to drive in the car, alone, with a road test examiner. There is no way to choose who the examiner will be and most of them are male. Also, no one else can be with her and the examiner during the test.

QUESTION: Im a teenager and I still live with my parents my school asked me to shave my beard even tho I live in a Muslim country and my father is asking me to shave my beard as well (he’s not forcing me ) but the school will take action if I don’t shave my beard what is the ruling on this ?
