QUESTION: What is the ruling on selling salt, wheat, barley and dates online? This is when the money and goods arent exchanged hand to hand and the delivery takes a few days. Is it riba? I know its haram to trade gold and silver online but does this ruling also apply to food commodities with long shelf life? Such as rice, wheat, spices, dates, salt, barley etc.

ANSWER: This is not riba as you are paying for it in cash and not in the same kind. Buying dates online while paying for it with dates, this is riba. Buying it online while paying for it in cash, this is totally permissible

QUESTION: Do the practise of performing flower bath is allowed in Islam? In some part in S.E.A. we practice this with quranic verses accompanied by niat@niyyah on our intention. ANSWER: Weed is a drug and totally prohibited and a person’s prayers of 40 days are invalidated if he consumes alcohol or does drugs & he cannot abandon prayer during these days thinking they are anyways not going to be accepted because abandoning prayer takes a person out of the fold of Islam!

QUESTION: If I put a bell on my bike so that I can alarm people when driving and also cuz maybe the laws oblige this, and this only makes a sound when I click a a button, is this haram? Because I read a hadith about bells so now I have doubt this is sinful?

QUESTION: I heard that one must not change a child’s lineage and must bear the name of his/her father, I bear the name of my grandpa due to familial issues who is now dead, and on my birth certificate my mom became my sibling.
