ANSWER: No problem in this.

I like keeping my nails. I dont trim them. I take care of them as well. I dont apply nail paint on them. I clean them regularly. I just wanted to know if my prayers are accepted or not if i dont cut them for more than 40 days??

ANSWER: This does not effect the validity of your prayers, however it’s totally prohibited to grow your nails like this. It’s mandatory to cut them off within 40 days and if they grow before that time then you MUST cut them off immediately instead of imitating the disbelievers.

Under my parents compulsion my wife wearing a black beeds type chain , and a necklace having moons and stars interconnected as it is among here the most of the muslims having that intime of marriage.as it is identical for muslims but may be it is a imitation of kaafirs culture, shall i sell those against my parents desire.

ANSWER: This is absolutely not permissible for muslim women to wear or possess, as this is a symbol of hindu religious ritual where they believe if a married woman does not wear this then her husband’s life would be in danger.

I have recently gotten married and my wife used to do her own eyebrows and I informed that this so sinful. She has now stopped threading alhumdulilah. However, now her eyebrows grow very strange and I don’t feel attracted to her anymore. What to do? Can she go back to threading them to look normal again. As now they look too strange and bushy due to her old habits.

ANSWER: It’s totally prohibited to remove the eyebrows by any means and it comes under major sin. No problem in bleaching the extra hair but must conceal this in front of non mahram men and while going out as this comes under adornment.

Is it permissible to keep hair spikes without getting fade hair cut or without intending to imitate anyone.

Women abaya shampoo (to wash abaya) contains perfume in it.Is it permissible to use these shampoos to wash our outer garment because our outer garment may have some fragrance after getting washed? Does it comes under those women who wear perfume and go outside?

ANSWER: Some abayah shampoos are so strong that men usually think that this is perfume. If this is the case, it is not permissible to use such shampoos.

ANSWER: If there is a genuine need, in that the birthmark is extremely abnormal and is considered to be a defect by sound people, and especially if it affects one’s marriage or one’s aspirations to marry, then there will be a dispensation of permissibility.
