The custody is with the mother unless she remarries but the father has rights of visitation and to share them over the weekends, holidays and whenever it is appropriate.

Seeing them once a month is wrong and unislamic but this is one of the heavy prices one needs to pay for living in such a kafir country.

QUESTION: In the West, when people divorce the kids go with the mom. The father if hes even allowed to see his kids will see them on the weekend or something or he might see them once a month and so on. In Islam whats the process of divorce regarding custody of the children in the west
