Your mother has no right in interfering in your married life at all. You can DEFINITELY take your wife and kids anywhere you want without taking your mother along or even informing her! You can compensate your mother by taking her alone with you or with your kids without your wife to wherever it pleases her. 

QUESTION: Sheikh, is i am sinful if i go out with my wife and children without asking my mother’s permission? as she always create a fuss when we leave the house without taking her with us, she curse me for leaving her alone in house…I don’t know if this is right or wrong as my wife also don’t want her to go with us. Is my wife has right to object?
