QUESTION: One of my uncle told me that we should not ask Allah for anything other then his forgiveness. And it’s like embarrassing Allah by wishing for worldly things. And should shall be contented with whatever he decrees upon us. So, should we not ask Allah for anything then?

QUESTION: I wanted to ask about making du’a after praying the 2 rakaat behind Maqaam Ibrahim during Umrah. I was recently advised by a friend that this is not from the Sunnah as the Prophet ﷺ used to continue his Umrah after praying here and did not make du’a. I wanted to ask what is the validity of this and is it okay if I make du’a occasionally after these 2 rakaat
