ANSWER:

If he calls Allah through the waseela of the buried dead as if they have a high status with Allah, this is an innovation and being there is a minor shirk

But if he calls the dead themselves and ask them to ask Allah, this is major shirk.

Both ways, it is not advisable to stay with such a person. 

QUESTION: My husband goes to dargah and ask Allah through the dead they think the dead are pious and will deliver the message to Allah and Allah will quickly response to them and will answer the Dua. Is this major shirk or minor shirk. And if it’s minor shirk can I leave with him like a normal spouses leave.
