You should go & visit her to honor your husband & to save your marriage!

It’s not that he’s asking you to go live with your in laws. 

Visiting the sick is also from the sunnah and you will be rewarded for it. If all of this doesn’t appeal to you, you can ask for divorce and move on with your life!
