Stalking people annoys them and makes them feel uneasy. Therefore, this is prohibited and sinful 

QUESTION: Is it permissible to stalk someone on social media whose profile is public (looking at pics,followers,etc.) of the same gender or will it come under spying? And if its allowed but i still abandon it for Allah’s sake, will I be rewarded for the same?
