1- You have extra than what you need.
2- He is in real need for that
3- He is not going to use it to help your siblings or anyone else with it.

QUESTION: Is it a mandatory on you to give money to your dad during your teen age when he asks you. Cos I have a dad that asks me money alot while I am still schooling and feeding myself with my own money
