No problem in doing this if this is cultural and you do not believe this has anything to do with Islam especially when surrounded by ignorants who do not understand 

QUESTION: In my culture it’s like Haram and not respectful if a wife doesn’t cover her hair infront of her husband’s dad and If I don’t follow this will I get sins even tho islam says that a woman can show her hair to her father-in-law?
