QUESTION: I’m newly married and my wife is a good practicing Muslim but she doesn’t do hijab when going out however she put scarf on her head. She thinks hijab will make her look very odd. I’ve tried several times to convince her for hijab but in vain. I don’t want to be harsh on her but I silently pray Allah SWT to give her hidayah. Am i dayooth if i Don’t be strict on her?

QUESTION: I married 5 months ago & currently can’t provide for my wife, but will soon provide inshaAllah. My wife works in private school & doesn’t wear hijab. Although I can’t provide her right now can i still force her to wear hijab, avoiding free-mixing, pray 5 times, etc? I’ve been forcing her, but it’s making things worse—what should I do sheikh ?
