If he bought it first without any obligation on the customer and then sold it to the customer, this is permissible as the customer could have changed his mind and he would have been stuck with the product.

But if he had sold it before buying it, this is similar to drop shipping as he has sold what he doesn’t possess.

He must repent to Allah and ask Him for forgiveness.

QUESTION: If a person working in a Shop,his friends aproch him personally (not from shop) for purchase some products,then he said a price and he go and buy from a all sale dealer and sell to his friend .is this dropship,he earned somany mony on this way what to do?(don’t know how much,and coustomers)
