QUESTION: I live in Singapore. Housing is EXPENSIVE. Govt. forcefully takes 20% of salary for housing/medical. MAJORITY of ppl can’t afford to buy/rent with their salary. Is it feasible for all these ppl to remain unmarried to avoid mortgage? This is a real issue we face. They must marry when they can afford it or migrate to another country.

QUESTION: Would a marriage still be valid if a husband and wife sleep in separate rooms due to not getting along for numerous years. The wife gave permission for him to remarry but he refuses and wants to be a father for his 5 grown children. They have agreed to be civil and not divorce for children’s sake. Is this allowed?
