ANSWER:

Keep advising him every now and then, with good manners, knowledge and choosing the appropriate time & place without policing or nagging him. No one is perfect and you are not his mother. As long as he listens and does many of the things you advise him to do, this is great.

QUESTION: I have an close muslim friend that i have advised for many years and allhamdulliah he is getting better with salah and overall.And he ask my for advise in islam. But somtimes he does the oppesite like buy house on riba or talking to oppesite gender.. I feel like leaving him as a friend… what should
