As long as you are dependent on them financially and fear they would block you from worshipping Allah if they came to know about your Islam, you can keep the thread but must hate it in your heart. 

QUESTION: Hindu parents HATE interest in Islam dk i revert. at10had UPANAYNA&wore a thread to symbolize me learning 2BA priest. later i revert but still wear the thread to conceal me. I fear fam will see me without it & do shirk ritual to replace. they wont physically hurt me but willB enraged&consequences. I dont worship&just wear. Im a teen. Is this shirk/kufr? QUESTION: Can i follow aadhans from mosque who rejects sahih hadiths or mosque which does shirk.
