It is not permissible to sit with them and eat with them.

You can take the food and go and eat it at your home.

QUESTION: Eating food prepared by the family of deceased In our masjid the family of the dead serve food when someone dies, i don’t participate in their gatherings but when i go for salah they announce that “so and so died and here’s some food please have some” can i consume from it?
