ANSWER:

You have no right in stopping her from visiting her son in HIS HOUSE!

It’s not obligatory for you to maintain ties with her but if she visits her son once in a while then it shouldn’t be a problem. You can always leave the house and go to your parents if you don’t want to meet her.

QUESTION: Can I ban my mother-in-law from visiting forever our house due to privacy invasion, comparison, judgment & dictation? Her visits ruin my mental peace, caused me depression. Is it possible to set boundaries, considering my Islamic rights? As islam tells man to give his wife her place.
