ANSWER:

If you stole money, you must return it to the owners even if you had stolen it before Islam as Islam erases the sins but not the rights of others.

If you don’t know them, give the equivalent in charity.

QUESTION: Before I reverted to islam i cheated and travelled by buses or trains without a ticket. Also i stole some of less valuable products such as ice creams or sweets. Am i obliged to return the money to those stolen or cheated? It is happened long time ago. I also live in non-muslim country and no one asked me to return. I dont’t know what to do, returning would put me in bad light
