The marriage is invalid as it requires the consent and approval of the father of the bride in order to be valid. 

They would be living in zina if they fail to do so

QUESTION: A couple repented from fornication. Both parents agree to their marriage but the parents want to delay it until the boy is financially stable. The couple dont want haram acts anymore, can they do nikah (court) now with witnesses?
