ANSWER: No, this is not true! It is not permissible for a woman to shave her head except if prescribed by a professional doctor.

QUESTION: I want to color my hair golden or brown to attract my husband. some people told me that my wadu will not be valid after coloring my hair because of certain chemical ingredients present in colors. Do I need to check and research about ingredients before using hair color, or I can just use the branded hair colors easily available without worrying about the ingredients?

ANSWER: As long as it doesn’t form a layer on your hair & it’s medically safe, no problem in it, provided you conceal it in front of non mahram men and while going out.

ANSWER: If there are non mahram men present there, this is not permissible. You shouldn’t compromise your religion for such a reason and should do home schooling if needed.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to pray while wearing makeup? Because one time I asked my friend who wears makeup, “How are you going to pray?” and then she replied to me that you can just make wudu before wearing makeup and after wudu you can wear makeup and wudu won’t become invalid and you can just pray after that

ANSWER: No problem in this if this is common among muslim women in your community as long as you conceal it while going out and in front of non mahram men.

QUESTION: A lot of my friends wear heavy makeup outside. I know they won’t listen if I tell them to stop wearing it completely so what I do is I encourage them to wear less makeup, telling them that they don’t need it, so that there is less sin. Is there any problem in this? Am I sinful for still allowing them to wear a little bit of makeup?

ANSWER: You must not comment on their make up positively nor encourage them to wear more or less rather show them your resentment of it as it angers Allah and do not ever go out with them in public while they are not probably covered.
