I live in Bangladesh.my maulana told me that i should cover my head infront of elderly ladies as this is a manner.and told me about a hadith that jibril (as) was not entering to carry the message to rasool(sws) so he told khadija(ra)to cover her head and body so the angel could enter.pls can u briefly explain about the hadith and do i have to cover my head infront of a lady?

ANSWER: This is baseless, you can take off hijab in front of women and mahrams.

We know that the whole body and the face must be covered when the woman goes out of her house. Is it also mandatory to cover the hands and the feet too or is it something optional?

ANSWER: The feet is a must while the hands is an issue of dispute. The safest opinion is to cover them as well.

My question is that what is the rullling of hijab in islam for females. Veil( hiding face ) is mandatory or only abaya and head cover is ok? I have gone through few videos on internet by different scholars some says face is not included in hijab u can keep it open Some says face should b covered .

ANSWER: A Muslim woman must be covered from head to toe. She must wear the hijab and a loose fitting outer garment that conceals the entire shape and bone structure of her body. If wearing the niqab is her conviction, she must abide by it as well. I personally believe that it is mandatory.

I would like to know if it is compulsory to wear hijab in front of male memebers of the family. I also want to know in home my full body is covered except my face hands and head but my mother insists me to wear a scarf on body in front of my father and brother. I am 20 yr old. Is it compulsory or obligatory to wear e scraf even after the clothing is decent and body is covered.

ANSWER:

My cousin brother is getting married next month In Sha Allah. They have separate arrangements for men and women. But sometimes men do enter women’s section to serve the food and stuff. Sheikh I dont want to remove my abhaya and niqab but my mother wants me to wear a long colourful dress with hijab but not niqab. Can i disobey her in this matter and wear niqab?

Would a Muslimah be going against any Qur’an commandments and/or the Sunnah if she wears modest clothing that meets ALL hijab requirements in public but without an outer garment like the jilbab, abaya etc, taking care to cover her body and hair in loose-fitting non-attractive clothing in any form or style, depending on her country of origin. ANSWER: A Woman must wear an outer garment that doesn’t reveal her curves and bones structure, black color is not mandatory though it is preferred as the female companions used to wear it.

By avoiding decorations and glitters,can women wear printed outer garments?Such as white/navy blue clothes in which flowers/dots/lines are printed or striped?Or should we wear only one colored clothes?

ANSWER: Women must not wear eye catching garments or decorated ones in front of non mahrams and when they go out.

There is a sister began to wear the hijab about 4 years ago.When she began to wear it,she developed red spots on her head & it slowly went to her face.She went to 7 different doctors who told her to change the material of the hijab,change her diet,gave her shampoo & conditioner that has medicine,recited Surah Al-Baqarah on zam zam,but no result.She took off her hijab.What’s your advise?

ANSWER: I advise her to fear Allah, and not let the shaytan play with her, hijab has nothing to do with acnes and spots on face, she must repent sincerely and follow Allah’s Orders. Millions of women are wearing it without any problem.
