Are shorts a type of clothing that only non Muslims wear? I want to know if it is ok for muslims to wear shorts

ANSWER: For men, this is not permissible to wear in front of others as the awrah would be exposed. As for both men and women, they can wear these ONLY in front of their spouses.

As for women, is it written as a sin if a muslim woman looks at a non muslim woman who is wearing less clothes like indecent swimming clothes?

Some of women in our country wear maxi(long dress upto feet) .They ask me wheather their prayers will be valid if they don’t wear under garments,that is from below private parts uncovered.

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to wear attractive abayas as this defies the purpose of hijab.

I know that displaying pictures with faces is haram. I want to inquire if it would be OK if I put on my wall or office picture of my, my husband’s and my sons hands making dua or picture of our backs or our shadows as we look at the horizon. There are some moments I want to look at over and over. Please explain the limits regarding this. None of the pictures will have faces shown.

ANSWER: It is not permissible for a woman to be filmed or photographed unless for necessity. The hands are an awrah of a woman so it’s not permissible to expose them.

I know kuffar men(hindus)who have led their eyes on our sisters.They talk of taking away our sisters(india).Arent those sisters hypocrite or alikewho claim to be muslim,use shahada and wear that reveal 70% sizeof the upper body.N if say that is wrong i am called sinful?then why shuld men have gheerah!then kufr tellme how nice my sisters are.I hate it n burns me asif.kufr enjoy ’em.

ANSWER: Women are sinful if they dress up like that but you have no right in being their moral police as you’re not their guardian. Men must stop this at their homes, the women who are under their guardianship like sisters and daughters. .

If a woman’s legs is very hairy like men, she thinks her husband will be turned off looking at it, is she allowed to shave her legs?
