I’m from pakistan. While offering namaz we wear chaadar (shawl) but our national outfit is (shalwar kameez). And my feet and my hands are not covered. Is my prayer valid? What should a normal attire while offering namaz?

ANSWER: This is not permissible at all. You must wear an outer garment over your normal dress while praying and a loose and long abaya that conceals your bone structure and curves does the job perfectly. Your must cover your feet as well, only your hands until the wrists and face should be uncovered.

Can a woman recite spoken word poetry in mixed gatherings without singing or low/high tune? Just speaking

ANSWER: This is totally prohibited as it defies the very purpose of hijab and free mixing is prohibited in Islam.

I heard there’s a Hadith that state whenever a woman left her hair without covering even if she’s alone, the angels of Rahma will not approach the place. How authentic is the Hadith cause what if she’s together with her husband nd his praying while her hair is open. Does that mean he will also not be surrounded by the angels too.

Sheikh I take online classes due to covid. My school asks us to switch on our cameras. All the students in my class are girls and even all my teachers are women. Infact my school is an all girls school. So while attending classes do I have to wear hijab or can I attend them in decent clothing?

ANSWER: You must wear the hijab as you don’t know who would be able to see you from other’s screen.

Is it permissible to offer salah in saree , as they dont wear pants under saree, the legs touch each other.

ANSWER: Wearing the underwear is not mandatory for praying. What is mandatory for women is to cover from head to toe with a very loose, thick and long garment that conceals the bone structure and curves.

Is it allowed for Muslim women to carry shoulder bags or back-pack? What should be taken into consideration?

ANSWER: You must not carry any flashy handbags that would draw attention and defy the purpose of hijab. Wearing a backpack would show the size of your shoulders, waste, and chest. If you only carry it and not wear it and it is not attracting men to look at you, this is permissible.

Sheikh can you clarify is the hadith about women of hell, only applies on women with high hair bun or normal low hair bun also counts in? Also can we do wudu and namaz with hair bun?

ANSWER: This hadith and prohibition is regarding having a high bun like a camel hump and going out wearing it. No problem in wearing it at home and even praying salah with it.
