QUESTION: Is it permissible to let the Sibbāl grow long? Or is it mandatory to shorten them? I’m talking about the hair between the mustache and beard.

ANSWER: It is an issue of dispute whether it is part of the beard and not permissible to trim or remove it or not. I am inclined to the opinion that it is not from the beard and can be trimmed.

QUESTION: Why is Isbaal while wearing bisht so common? Does it have a different ruling?

QUESTION: I made intention to leave one full fist of beard but my mom don’t want me to and she is saying that she won’t talk to me and her health is not good if she take too much stress. She is telling me that i can have medium beard but less then one fist and she will allow to leave me beard after my marriage. She also doesn’t pray namaz but she told me that if I don’t keep one fist beard she will pray 5

ANSWER: You must not obey her no matter what happens! She is oppressing you and she is sinful for that as she has no right to go against the law of Allah.

QUESTION: If I were cap only when going to pray so to adorn myself,is this comes under biddah (as prophet Muhammad ﷺ always cover his head)??

ANSWER: This is an innovation as you don’t wear this cap when you go for a job interview or when attending a wedding ceremony for example! This means it is not part of adorning yourself at all!
