QUESTION: I know shaving the beard is a sin. But I read on a site which said that shaving the beard is a major sin and the person who does it is considered to be an immoral person. Is this true?

ANSWER: You must wear them above the ankles and you can wear socks that cover your entire foot and part of your legs as well.

QUESTION: Sheik, even though my moustache hairs are short, if I drink and accidentally the water touches my upper lip along with the moustache, does the maqrooh still applies?

Quick question which I could not find a clear cut answer to: When one tucks trousers (which otherwise would have been over the ankles) into ones long socks – is this sufficient for wearing the garment above ankles?If so, do the trousers have to be above the ankles within the socks themselves, or can they be below them. as the sock conceals it?
