In bukhari narrated by adin bin hatim a hadith where prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said ‘U will see a women travel from al hira on a howdal to perform tawaf safely”, some people used this as an affirmation of women travelling alone in other citi & also they justify women riding bicycles on her own as here the woman travel om howdal alone.is it ok?plz enumerate the meaning of this hadith?

My mom did her Hajj in days when we were settled in Jeddah . She went without mahram.My Dad was with us kids in Jeddah. she was told from Jeddah to makkah is not a travel so can do so. But nowadays everyone tells her what she did was wrong and that for hajj mahram is compulsory. Kindly shed the correct view.

ANSWER: What they say is correct. For Hajj the male mahram accompanying women is required even if it’s not a traveling distance. She’s sinful for not making hajj with her male mahram but the hajj is valid.

I wished to go for hajj this time. But due to COVID_19 I couldn’t go. I am a military officer and I stay in a government quarter .I don’t have my own house to live with my wife and child ( my father has). Now can I spend the money to build a house which I catered for Hajj? If I spend that I think next year it may not be possible for me to go for haj.

Sheikh, My grandmother is coming from India on visit visa on which the SA govt specifically says the person can’t perform Hajj & umrah on this visa. So if my grandmother performs umrah is it permissible according to Islam ?

ANSWER: It is not part of the masjid and one can stay there even if she has her menses. The most authentic opinion is that you do not need wudhu for tawaf and saee.

If Husband and wife go to makkah together.. is it permissible for wife to go alone and do tawaf or does the husband need to be by her side while she is performing tawaf

ANSWER: They should wear their Ihram from dubai if they wish for convenience but make the intention of umrah and talibiya before the cross the meeqat while on the plane to Jeddah, about 40 minutes before landing. They will announce it.
