Hajj and Umrah

I’m someone that resides in Jeddah. I did Hajj a few years ago with some people that were from outside Jeddah, and they did Umrah upon arrival in Makkah right before the start of Hajj so I did Umrah with them as well. I’ve been told now that this is wrong, and people from Jeddah are not allowed to do Umrah before Hajj. Is my Hajj invalidated, should I pay compensation, or is it okay anyway?

What people had told you is not totally baseless! If you made Umrah and cut your hair afterwards and then assumed another Ihram for hajj, this was tamattu hajj and you should have slaughtered a sheep during the days of Eid and tashreeq in Mina.

If someone perform umrah in shawal/zulqadah, Does Hajj become mandatory for him/her in the same year. i have already performed hajj before but my wife has not done Hajj, If she is on visit visa she cannot do hajj as per the government rules.

I live in Riyadh and in sha Allah am leaving for umrah for 5 days soon. so my question to you is that should I have to shorten and combined salah in this journey and in masjid al haram while doing umrah if it happens at salah time also?

Can I and my wife go for Hajj / Umra by leaving our four year old son back at home, with our Parents to take care of him ?

Can we do umrah for others alive or dead. And we seen many people comes for umrah from different countries and in from kingdom also what they do is they performed first umrah then after they go to ayesha masjid and perform several umrah’s in a day or a week. Is it permissible?

if someone comes to jeddah in ihram even though she is on menses. and then becomes clean but then a day or two later she visits medina without being able to perform umrah ( due to hotel being booked beforehand)and then performs umrah when she returns from medina.is this valid or was ihram broken in between.

You are not allowed to travel without a mahram

Can a women perform umrah on her own without her husband in the haram & he just picks & drops her to the haram?

Wa alaikumsalam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuhu, This is not true. There is no Tawaf wida’a required for Umrah and it is only for Hajj.

Asalamu alaikum akhi Sheikh Assim, I know for umrah, we need to raml (walk fast for first 3 rounds). Do we need to walk fast for first 3 rounds for other optional tawafs? Jazak Allaah khair akhi,
