I have seen mnay Muslims when they greet they say the salam and when they depart apart from the salam they say please make dua for me, is this asking for dua from the sunnah? is it correct to say so?

ANSWER: The sunnah is to give Salam when entering and when leaving a gathering. Asking others for duaa is not from the sunnah but it is permissible.

We see all the time whenever we go near Kabah that people are touching the kiswah and putting their head on the kiswah and holding for maybe 1-2 minutes. Is it all innovation?

ANSWER: If he is committing shirk, they shouldn’t allow him to enter Makkah. They must advise him and call him back to Islam.

Can a woman,who is in ihram, remove or loosen her headcover for wudu (masaa’) or is it prohibited ? Is she required to have her headcover tightly wound around her head all thw time during ihram and not to remove or lower it for any reason, until the Umrah is complete? And if she did it, what will be the expiation due on her?

ANSWER: She can take off her scarf in ihram, no problem in that and it doesn’t have any effect on her ihram.

Sheikh, if we perform tawaf apart from the one in umrah, do we have to offer any nafil after performing it or read any specific duas?

ANSWER: You should pray 2 rakahs behind maqam Ibrahim. There’s no specific dua after completing the tawaf.

I was informed from saudi embassy that women without mahram can enter saudi alone after they turn 45.can i perform umrah or hadj alone when i turn 45?i am a female living alone without any mahrams help or family members help.please make dua for my family and me.

Shaykh my aunt is planning to go for hajj with her mahram and she is taking a loan from someone to pay for the hajj charges now but she will repay the person before she goes for hajj Is this permissible Shaykh?

ANSWER: She’s not obliged to take a loan for going to hajj, she’s exempted from performing hajj if she doesn’t have the financial means. However, her hajj is valid.
