Is it important to use non scented products during hajj? Or one can use normal available shampoo and body wash and deodorant will these nullify hajj?

ANSWER: No problem in using normal soaps and shampoos. It is not permissible at all to apply body spays and perfumes or deodorants in the state of ihram.

I hav issue of contnious bleding since 2months.All medical examination done but there was no diagnosis. Later suggestion of frnd startd listening and reciting surah albaqrah daily so my issue resolved. But this hapens evry other month to me since last 2yrs. Now my brother has called us for umrah. I fear that If I again suffer above issue will I b able to perform umrah? Wht Is ruling in such case?

ANSWER: You can go and before assuming Ihram from the meeqat, make a condition by saying that it if I were stopped from completing my umrah, I can take off my Ihram. Your menses can’t exceed 15 days.

While performing Tawaf, we do 7 rounds in which we have to say ‘Bismillah Allahu Akbar’ by pointing hand every time we come in line with black stone, so that’s saying ‘Bismillah Allahu Akbar’ 8 times in total. Out of 8 times, if someone forgets to say ‘Bismillah Allahu Akbar’ once or twice, is his Tawaf invalid?

ANSWER: This does not invalidate the tawaf as saying bismillah, Allahuakbar is not mandatory. However, after finishing the last round and passing the black stone, you don’t say this.

I am unmarried and since my teenage I have quite a lot of discharge and it increases due to dehydration. I will be going to Masjid al Haram for itikaf for a day, it might be troublesome to change my underwear or to renew wudhu very often. 1.Can I wear a pantyliner for few hours and pray? 2.Can I also perform tawaf in between itikaf or do I peform after itikaf is over?

ANSWER: No problem as the most authentic opinion is that the normal vaginal discharges are pure and do not effect the wudu. Being in the state of wudu is not mandatory to make tawaf or sa’ee.

During umrah should I need to perform every fard Salah during the journey as well as from my hotel room as JAMM & KASR .then can I pray voluntary prayers such as sunnah before & after fard prayers,dhuha prayer,tarawhi ,witr during the journey as well as from my hotel room.

ANSWER: You should shorten your prayers in the hotel. In congregation, follow the Imam. You should not pray the Sunnah of dhuhr, Maghrib and isha as Prophet ﷺ used to skip these while traveling. Other than that, you can pray as many voluntary prayers as you want.

I didn’t guide my friend in right manner when she was in periods and has to go makkah;I asked her to cross mekat as you r not going for umrah when u get clean then you can do from masjid ayesha.But now I informed my friend that I guided you in wrong way and I’m sorry for it,I asked forgiveness from ALLAH for guiding my friend wrongly unintentionally. Is there any expiation on me?

ANSWER: Your friend must give expiation of slaughtering a sheep in Makkah and distributing the meat to the poor. As you were the one who gave her the wrong fatwa, you are the one who should give her the money to do that or slaughter on her behalf after she authorizes you.

When women wear ihmraam before umrah. Is it true that her hair should not break during ehraam, otherwise ehraam is broken? Can she do wudu removing her headscarf while in ehraam?

ANSWER: Shaving is better as Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam prayed 3 times for the person who shaves his head in comparison to the one who trims it. However, trimming the hair is sufficient as well.

Is it possible to perform umrah on behalf of maternal uncle who is dead, in spite of his son, which is alive and is earning well?
