QUESTION: My father pays my university fees and tells me to study certain subjects or skills. I can do what he asks, but I also want to study other things. I fear that if I tell him I understand what he wants but am studying other things too, he may stop paying my fees. Am I sinful for not telling him everything I study and continuing to use his money for my university education? Am I wasting his money?
