This is not permissible as Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said its better to be stabbed in the head by an iron needle than to touch a non mahram 

QUESTION: You might know in our country the elder men place their hand on females head when greeting. Is it permissible for non-mehram or mehram to do so? If not how should I respectfully stop them

QUESTION: I have family that live on the other side of the planet and i meet them once in a blue moon. When i do meet them it is in a mixed gathering (all my mahrams but not mahrams to each other) Can i sit in this gathering because this is the only time i get to meet them.
